A clear guide to the small files WeTip uses to keep the service secure, functional, and familiar.

At a glance

WeTip currently uses essential cookies for sign-in and security, plus a preference cookie for your theme. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

01

About cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies may store information in your browser or help a service recognize a session.

This policy explains the cookies used on WeTip websites and web applications. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

03

Why essential cookies are needed

Essential cookies make features you request work and help protect WeTip, its creators, and supporters. They are used for functions such as authentication, session continuity, fraud prevention, and payment-flow security.

Because the service cannot reliably provide these features without essential cookies, they are placed when you use the relevant feature. Blocking them can prevent sign-in, checkout, account settings, or other protected actions from working.

04

Payment and sign-in providers

When you choose a third-party sign-in method or open a provider-hosted payment experience, that provider may set its own cookies under its policy. WeTip does not control those cookies. Review the provider notice shown in that experience for details and controls.

Raw payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored in WeTip cookies.

05

Analytics and advertising

As of the effective date, WeTip does not use advertising cookies or cookies designed to track you across unrelated websites. We also do not currently use optional analytics cookies.

If we introduce optional cookies, we will update this policy and provide an appropriate choice before using them where required.

06

Your controls

Most browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies. You can also change the WeTip appearance preference with the theme control in the site header.

Deleting the session cookie signs the browser out. Blocking essential cookies may make protected areas or payment-related flows unavailable. Browser controls vary, so consult your browser help documentation for exact steps.

07

Policy updates

We may update this policy when our use of cookies changes or when legal, security, or operational requirements change. The effective date at the top shows when the current version began to apply.

Material changes will be highlighted through the service or another appropriate channel.
