Your promo code becomes a shareable link. When a creator arrives through that link and signs up, WeTip records the referral automatically. You can find every code and its redemption count in Affiliate program → Promo codes.
Copy the right link
- Open Promo codes and find an active code.
- Select Copy link.
- Paste the full link into the channel, profile, campaign, or message where you are promoting WeTip.
- Open the pasted link in a private or signed-out browser window to make sure it opens as expected.
The link includes your code, so do not remove its ref parameter or replace it with a generic WeTip link.
Create additional codes
Use separate codes for distinct channels or campaigns when your account has available code slots. Add a short label that makes the source easy to recognize later, such as YouTube or September newsletter. The dashboard shows how many slots remain.
Pause, resume, or revoke a code
Pause a code when you want to stop new sign-ups from a campaign temporarily. Resume it when that campaign is ready again. Revoke a code when it should never be used again; a revoked code cannot be restored, but its existing referrals remain attributed to you and its slot becomes available for a new code.
Promote responsibly
Describe the program accurately and only use channels where you have permission to post. Do not claim guaranteed earnings, impersonate WeTip, use misleading redirects, or ask creators for passwords, payment details, or one-time codes.
A code only tracks the creator who signs up through it. It does not change a creator’s payout or take money from their tips.
