Successful tips do not always become withdrawable immediately. Payment confirmation, risk review, refunds, disputes, fees, and payout schedules can affect timing and available balance.
Balance types
Your workspace may separate incoming, pending, available, held, and paid amounts. These labels prevent money that is still being reviewed or settled from appearing ready too early.
Before the first payout
Verify your identity from Creator workspace → Settings → Profile, because settlements are held until that check is approved.
Add your bank and tax details for your location in the same settings area.
The payout provider may ask for more information when a detail cannot be verified automatically.
Payout lifecycle
- Eligible tips move into the available creator balance.
- WeTip prepares a payout according to the configured schedule and limits.
- The payout provider accepts or rejects the submission.
- The receiving bank processes the transfer.
- WeTip records the final settled or failed result.
Why a payout may be delayed
Common reasons include weekends or bank holidays, incomplete verification, recently changed bank details, account review, minimum payout rules, provider maintenance, refunds, or disputes.
A payout failed
Open the payout record and review the safe error description. Confirm the receiving details in creator settings. Do not repeatedly change verified details unless they are incorrect, because changes can trigger another review.
Never send complete bank credentials through a support conversation.
