Accept a workspace invite

A creator invited you to help run their WeTip workspace. Accepting takes a minute, but WeTip checks a few things first to keep the creator's money and supporters safe.

Before you accept

You need:

• A WeTip account with the invited email address. The invitation only works for the address it was sent to. If you do not have an account yet, create one with that address.
• A verified email address. See Verify your email.
• Two-step verification turned on. Members can reach supporter details and money records, so every member needs it. See Set up two-step verification.

Accept the invitation

1. Open the invitation email and select the link.
2. Sign in with the account that uses the invited email address.
3. Check the page: it shows the creator's workspace, who invited you, and your role.
4. Select Accept invitation.
5. Select Open workspace.

The creator gets a notification that you joined. You can leave at any time from the workspace's Members settings, see Leave a workspace.

If you cannot accept

• "This invitation was sent to a different email address." You are signed in with another account. Sign out, then sign in with the invited address.
• "Verify your email address before accepting." Verify your email, then open the link again.
• "Turn on two-step verification before accepting." Select Turn on two-step verification, finish the setup, then open the link again.
• "You are already a member of this workspace." You have already joined. Open the workspace from your dashboard.
• "This invitation is no longer open." It expired, was revoked, or was already used. Ask the workspace owner to send a new one.
