Inviting people is safer than sharing your password, because every member has their own sign-in and only the access their role allows. WeTip adds a few protections on top.
What WeTip does for you
- Every member uses two-step verification. A member cannot accept an invite or open your workspace until two-step verification is on for their account.
- Invites are tied to one email address. A forwarded invitation link lets nobody else in.
- Invites expire. A link stops working after 7 days, or as soon as you resend or revoke it.
- Sensitive changes ask you for a code. Inviting someone, or changing a member's role, asks for a fresh code from your authenticator app.
- Money and access stay with you. Members can never change your payout details, your identity verification, who has access, or close the workspace.
- Removal is instant. A removed member loses access immediately, even in a dashboard they already have open.
Habits that keep your workspace safe
- Never share your own sign-in. Invite each helper with their own email instead.
- Give the smallest role that works. See Choose the right role for each teammate.
- Keep money and stream roles apart. A manager does not need statements; an accountant does not need the studio.
- Review your members regularly. Open Creator workspace → Settings → Members and remove anyone who no longer helps.
- Revoke invites nobody accepted. An open invite is an open door until it expires.
- Act fast if something looks wrong. Remove the member first, then talk to them.
Protect your own account too
As the owner, your account holds the keys to everything. Turn on two-step verification and keep your recovery codes safe. See Secure your account.
